Unfortunately, the standard kit didn’t include the lightning protection, so I decided to order it additionally. And I advise you to do the same thing in order to feel safer.

I have bought this amplifier for the yacht which I rent. My clients used to complain about poor mobile reception at the yacht on far distances from the coastline. With this device the mobile connection is good enough to make calls and to use mobile internet. The only thing I didn’t like about the product is that I had to pay additionally for + 17 ft of cable for the indoor antenna. The initial cable in the set was only 5 meters, that was too short. I also wish that the model amplified 3G as well. I think I will change this booster for LCD-GDW-Boats, which supports three frequencies – GSM 900 MHz for calls, DCS 1800 MHz for 4G internet, and WCDMA 2100 MHz for 3G internet. Well, I’ll see.

I was pleasantly surprised by the smart system of the device. When the incoming signal level changes the booster automatically adjusts itself and changes the gain and signal power.

The device really works. It significantly extended mobile coverage on my yacht. The technical features of the amplifier are very impressive. This is one of the most powerful models of marine boosters IMHO.

This booster is simple to use thanks to the two digital displays which show informational tips during the installation and later they provide data regarding the operational system of the device during its work. The left screen shows parameters for 900 MHz frequency and the right one for 1800 MHz band. I have been using it for two weeks already and have noticed no problems yet.

I couldn't make out how it should be installed. Fortunately, my neighbour has a marine booster and he agreed to help me. Apart from the installation, everything else was good. The cables were included in the standard set, and the quality of the current signal is much better.

This model was released in 2018, so I think it’s better to look for a newer one. Nevertheless, LCD-GD-Boats is not bad. The indoor coverage is enough for large vehicles as mine. The outside antenna is omnidirectional and it’s very powerful. It’s possible to install 4 additional indoor antennas. The number of simultaneous users is not limited. The working frequencies are 900MHz and 1800MHz, so it’s compatible with the main European operators.

In general, I'm pleased with it. This marine booster amplifies signal well, occupies little space, and doesn't require any additional technical support. I'd even say that it's better than I expected.

The booster is effective indeed. It effectively improves voice connection and mobile internet equally well. The only thing was that I had to order additional longer cable for the indoor antenna, as the one which was included in the standard set was a bit short for me, it was only 5 m. All the other options were satisfactory. The installation wasn’t complicated. It has been working without interruptions so far.

This model is easy to use and to install. I had no problems with it! There are two LCD screens for separate frequencies, i.e. 900MHz and 1800MHz. What is more, the standard kit included two power supplies - 12V and 220V.

The standard kit comes only with one indoor antenna, but as the indoor coverage is huge, I needed to disseminate the signal equally. So I added four more antennas and now the reception is perfect.
